How do I get to the Galapagos islands?
There is no direct flight from the Netherlands to the Galapagos islands. You always have to make a stop in Quito or Guayaquil. KLM has flights here departing from Amsterdam every day.
Can I reach the Galapagos islands by boat?
If you have no intention of visiting the rest of Ecuador, we strongly recommend flying to Guayaquil. From Guayaquil, you can fly to one of the two airports on the Galapagos islands in about an hour and a half.
